NEWS
Two Amazing CBFVA Events & Speakers!
We are proud to announce that Dr. Caleb Oladipo of Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond, and Dr. Bill Leonard of Wake Forest Divinity School will serve as keynote speakers for two upcoming CBFVA events in 2010 and 2011.

November 9, 2010 - BGAV at Hampton Roads
During the CBFVA-BTSR luncheon at the Baptist General Association of Virginia meeting in Hampton Roads, Dr. Oladipo will share his story and lead in a discussion of our "global witness" as Baptists.

March 10-11, 2011 - Walnut Grove Baptist Church, Mechanicsville, VA
Dr. Bill Leonard will serve as keynote speaker and moderate a panel discussion at the CBFVA General Assembly 2011.  The conversation with Dr. Leonard and other Baptist leaders will consider our witness as Baptists in a new era. We encourage you to read Bill's new book prior to the General Assembly conversation.

Mark your calendars, and watch the CBFVA Friday News and www.cbfva.org for upcoming details.

INNOVATION
Seeking a Minister? Let CBFVA & BTSR be of help.
CBFVA and BTSR announce a new online tool that will allow churches to advertise current ministry opportunities at no charge via the CBFVA website and ministry networks, as well as BTSR's student and alumni/ae network. If you represent a church that would like to advertise with CBFVA and BTSR, please click here to complete the ministry posting form.

Upon review and approval by CBFVA and BTSR staff, the ministry posting will be shared for up to three months online and on BTSR's campus in Richmond. If you have questions about this new ministry posting tool, please contact Rob Fox at rfox@cbfva.org.

We also encourage churches who wish to use the CBF resume-matching service to visit Leader Connect, or email Harvey Skinner (hskinner@cbfva.org) and Clarissa Strickland (cstrickland@thefellowship.info) for more information on reference and referral services.
